The driest of all the biomes.

Human influence, health concerns, and threats

The desert land has the possibility of becoming farmable. (Miller-Levine, p 1015) Although there are not many human influences on the desert, because of its inhabitants, the possibility for more of humanity to become active in the deserts of the world is possible with a technological advancement. If scientists could come up with a faster, more advanced way of transporting water to the desert then the land could possibly become farming area. (Miller-Levine, p1015) As for now, human activity in the deserts is very rare. The health concerns in going to a desert land are the heat and water deprivation. If going to a desert the idea of bringing a lot of water is the best possible solution. While with the heat, wearing a hat and lots of sunscreen can also somewhat prepare anyone for the extreme temperatures.
